Training is available, and many times required, on the positions listed. Training usually lasts one week. Certain projects may require Cisco certification. On these projects, if you do not already possess the certification, there will be training, followed by testing, from a Certified Cisco Systems Instructor.


PC/Telecom Technician

This is a lucrative, 100% travel position for an extended period. You must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license. You must also be able to pass a drug screen and background check. The position is based out of Northwest Arkansas. RMSJobsTech is an equal opportunity employer. You will be reporting directly to the project management team and have availability to our support desk while working.

Responsibilities Included:
  • Install and configure hardware, software, and networks for PCs and servers in a multi-user environment.
  • Implement system security measures such as backups, access, control, system accounting, and disaster recovery in order to maintain system integrity and availability.
  • Performs fault isolation and repairs in a complex PC/networking environment independently or in consultation with a vendor or other technical personnel.
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and system groups.
  • Motivated to work under minimal supervision and capable of operating as a Team Lead

You must have experience in one of the following:
  • Telecommunications
  • Nortel
  • Meridian
  • Avaya
  • AT&T
  • VOIP
  • Commercial and residential telephone installer

POS Technician

  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and evenings. This is a local position in specific markets.
  • General Hardware/Software knowledge and troubleshooting skills including Point-of-Sale devices
  • General Network technician skill set, ability to terminate CAT5E cabling to various terminations
  • General Server technician skill set, working knowledge of network racks, rack mount equipment, patch panels, etc.
  • Ability to manage patch panel cabling, rack re-allignment, and basic server troubleshooting
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods of time.
  • Basic Network troubleshooting, can console into a Cisco device and follow support instruction over the phone
  • Ability to tone telephony lines from 66 block
  • Ability to install new telephony fuse block and cross connect lines from existing 66 block
  • Knowledge on PBX, Telco, 66/110 Block
  • Can locate and troubleshoot CSU, T1, Circuits, etc.
